    Hi Guys,

I've had this laptop for almost 2 years now. Have been happy with it and had never failed or dissapointed me with any games I played so far.

Then until Warhammer Online came... The lag BAD when in RVR, is there anyway I can improve the performance of my laptop or is it time to say goodbye?

Heard from friend bout updating BIOs or Video drivers, but don't know anything bout these. Please do guide me or provide some help in getting this game playable :)

EDIT: did try to find driver update on nVidia site but 7700 not found :(

You never update your drivers? WOW then you have been losing alot of performance... Just go to laptopvideo2go.com and download any of the newest drivers + the modden inf file (you need to put this file inside the driver directory created after you unzip the file) and start the setup...

P.S: Before installing, UNISTALL the previous driver (via control panel/add & delete programs) and use Driver Cleaner to delete any old driver trace... Then restart and install the new driver...

It's possible that the problem is your video drivers, but it's also possible that you're just experiencing the common WAR choppiness that a lot of people are complaining about right now. I play on an m1330 (8400m GS / 3GB / 2.2GHz C2D) and can get a steady framerate, but the game still jumps all over the place. People on different forums are talking about how their ultra high end desktops are having the same problems. SO, don't worry about upgrading your hardware just yet, let's wait and see how Mythic addresses this. Google around if you want more info.

Thanks! I've been browsing around and read bout it as well. Do hope Mythic fixes this. I'll most likely be trying some driver updates as well since I haven't had any in almost 2years...

I can relate to the periodic graphic delays with the game, however, I am having an entirely different problem with my G1S. I keep all the drivers current, and with the "S" model I have the newer CPU and GPU.

Unfortunately, the WAR application is dropping from memory periodically. If I try to up the screen resolution to the max (1650 x 1050) the application drops from memory and I have to restart it (no error messages, no warnings, nothing). Playing the game at the default resolution I can play for a bit, but then suddenly it drops memory again. No specific location in game, no time limit, seems vary random.

Any thoughts? Question I don't care, but when grouping and raiding, this is going to be a problem. Thanks!!
