    Hi guys,
Sorry if this aint an appropriate section.
Ive got an fx 3700m and im not sure how good the performance increased from my 9800m gt @ 640/1550/1000.
Card now is running at 580/1460/875, a bit lower than a common gtx 280m clocks.
Ive did some benchmarks on my own but i cant take apart again my notebook for testing my 9800m gt again due to my limited time (i have to blame my work, but thats life).

So what i ask is a favor for me so i can really compare the card to a common gtx.
Any benchmark can be useful, first let me state the settings im using:

    - 260.63 drivers beta
    - my screen max supported resolution is 1680x1050

It doesnt really matter to me what drivers you're using (eventually ill test them out), just write what uve benchmarked.

My current 3dmark06 scores are (try to use the same settings if you can please):

    1280x800: 12,887 points (cpu @ 3,6ghz x9100)
1280x1024: 11,870 points (same cpu speed as above)

    Ive got installed these games:

    Dirt
    Dirt 2
    Sf 4
    Blur
    Dead rising 2
    F1 2010
    Modern warfare 2
    Wrc
    AvP
    Grid demo
    Just cause 2 demo
    Darksiders
    Colin mcrae rally 4
And a bunch of others that now doesnt come to mind.
    My simple rules are:

    - state resolution and settings
    - program or application used
    - gtx 280m at stock clocks
    - state drivers used
    - last but not important the cpu used and speed

For those who dont know Fraps can be used to benchmark a game.
Under fps tab check "benchmark time" to 60fps and "benchmark avg-min-max" checkbox. Ingame press f11 to start benchmark, counter should disappear and appear again after it finished.
Results can be found under fraps folder into benchmark folder and files are named like "game-maxminavg-datetime.csv".
Those can be opened with notepad.
If u use fraps please post whats written in that file.

Please guys help me out,its driving me crazy. I beg you!
Maaaany thanks in advance and forget any typos, iphone is a mess for typing a long post...
    Thanks!

    Example:

    - wrc, 1680x1060, maxed out, no AA
    - cpu @ 3,6ghz
    - min 46, max 51, avg 48.6

    Thanks again!

Man, I wish I could compare our systems! I don't have a CPU that fast! I'm looking for one, cause I know I could hit 14k on 3dmark.

Working on some overclocks with an sp9400, and my t9300 is so far not overclockable.
Otherwise I'd love to compare our systems both with 3.6ghz :)

That's the best I can do for you:

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I heavily overclocked this card and it turned out not to be stable in a few games so I then ran it at 610/1525/900 24/7.

    Well hmm.
My score in vista was 13.3 with a big OC on my q9200.

I actually would love to run some 3dmarks, I haven't done it in a while. Problem is my sp9400 doesn't have temp sensors.

I dunno I have to try all sorts of things, maybe I'll post back when I reset the BSEL pins of my t9300 to run at 1066mhz FSB making it 266x12.5=3.3ghz
    LOL

    Skip all of the hoorah.

Just run 3Dmark Vantage, and the GPU score will tell you if your card is performing where it should be.

My laptop specs are in my sig....

    Usually I get about a 13,200 3dmark06 score @ 1280 x 1024
    SM2.0 score- 5900-6100
    SDR/SM3.0 score- 5500-5800

3DMark Vantage Score is around 6600-6800
GPU score- around 5500 or so.

Generally I have my clocks at 600/1600/1000 so they have a slight overclock but not much. Anyway...hope that helps!

FYI- I'd be willing to sell you my MXM 3.0b 280m card if you want. PM me if interested..... :)

5500 gpu score sounds kinda low.

I own the 280ms younger brother, the 260m and with a small OC I get 5879.

Okay guys, i got the results in.

    3dmark Vantage
    Performance Settings
    1280x1024
    GPU Score: 4897

    3dmark Vantage
    Performance Settings
    1280x800
    GPU Score: 5996

Now i would kindly know how big_eazy can score 5879 with a gtx 260m at 1280x1024 with performance settings.
And naturally Physx is enabled in AUTO (so on CPU afaik) because moving it on GPU thru NCP would be like cheating.
    Thanks :)

Ya it's been a few months since I ran vantage...and I was going off of my best guess. It probably was higher, but I dont remember. Maybe I'll run it again and report back.

    Ah ok, that explains.
It was not clear in your precedent post, thats all.
I didnt ran any benches using dox 185.85 (the ones i have, not .20, are those better?) but i did with latest betas installed as i said in first post.
