Since only 3 persons claimed their gifts, the rest are up for reroll. Here is the new winners and hopefully they will be on time this time:

    Orcs Must Die! 2 miro_gt

    Starvoid mattcheau

Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge Kuroi-Tsubasa

    Syndicate (GOG Version) trvelbug

    *******************

And so the results are in. In total we have 49 entries, some simply chime in to share their favorite films and some didn't follow the rules so they weren't in the running.

With the help of random.org, I hereby announce and congratulate our winners! Thank everyone for participating, may you all have a wonderful new year!

    Borderlands 2 hulawafu77

    Orcs Must Die! 2 J.Dre

    Starvoid Prydeless

    Bad Rats: the Rats' Revengeniharjhatn

    Renegade Ops tipra

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords xavorod

    Syndicate (GOG Version) TheDane

Those who are named here have 24 hours to pm me an email to get the gift and/or tell me if they already have that game so I can reroll and gift it to someone else instead.

Once again, congratulations guys! And enjoy your gift!

    ****************************

Since we all survived through the apocalypse or armageddon and it's only a few days till a whole brand spanking new year 2013 I figure why not a giveaway?

Here is what you can get from me:

    Borderlands 2
    Orcs Must Die! 2
    Starvoid
    Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge
    Renegade Ops

    Prydeless:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
    Syndicate (GOG Version)

    Rules:
You have until 9PM PST December 31st to put entries in, just tell me your best movie of all time.

Along with that you need to have at least 10 posts and being a member here since November.

I will randomly pick entries so so long as you qualify with the above requirements, you are in!

*Update: thanks to Prydeless's generosity, we have two more games in the mix! That's two people!
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/member.php?u=104900

Guys, winner will be picked at random so yeah, whats the point of saying which game you want? Also after the winner announcement if that NBR member couldnt response within 24 hours, the game will be rerolled and given to someone else.

My best movie of all time is "Benji the Hunted". Big part of my childhood and the messages in that movie carries over in me to this day :)
If you've never seen it, I recommend you watch it in it's entirety.

Bad Rats is one of the more sadistic games I've seen, since you have to actively think of ways to kill a cat in cruel and unusual methods.

The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises!

Hands down, the best movie(s) of 2012 (and one of the best trilogies ever). Both are equally epic, but if I must choose one, I choose The Dark Knight because of Heath Ledger's amazing performance as the Joker. See these in IMAX and you will no doubt love them. :D Christopher Nolan is probably my favorite director and/or producer of all time.

Favourite movie of all time is Pulp Fiction it just oozes style.

Rudlin - Oldboy is my second favourite film, it's so good. Hoping the holywood remake coming out next year does it some justice, obviously won't be as good though.

    Prince of Persia (2010).

Under critical lens, the movie fails: the action is predictable, the B-plot is a banal romance, it is full of anachronisms, and it is not insightful.

However, something about the diaphanous fabric the heroine wears, the setting (Ancient Persia), a mystical dagger that reverses time, and the film's prosaisms evokes in my mind what might have been. I cannot escape my soft spot for Oriental fantasies and love stories.

I highly recommend Borderlands 2. My current mission is to finish every quest, side quests including the DLCs before the next DLC comes out. Siren is my favorite right now.

One thing I would want tweaked in BL2, I'd like the gun sway to be reduced. I would think the Gunzerker have the best control, but I find he has the most gun sway. I mean he's called a Gunzerker!

Borderlands 2 should be renamed, BulletZ. Because you go through em so fast. In just a 15 minutes I'll go through 1200 SMG rounds, 180 Shotgun Rounds and 700 AR rounds. lol. I'm always running out of bullets.

I'm really disappointed to see so many predictable movies here. Saying your favorite film is Forrest Gump is like saying your favorite flavor of ice cream is vanilla. Don't get me wrong, I greatly enjoyed about 80% of the movies I've seen in this thread so far, but they're all films you expect on lists like this (with a few "just how many movies have you seen anyway" entries), so they don't really add much to the discussion. At least nobody said The Princess Bride.

Runners-up for me would be The Proposition, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Third Man, and The Royal Tenenbaums. There are half a dozen other movies it hurts not to mention, but those four demanded it.

However, my winner, by virtue of being the film that has brought me so much pure, campy joy since I first saw it on TBS over twenty years ago, has to be The Warriors. In college I was afraid it wouldn't impress others who were first-time viewers, but it has never let me down.
