    (By the way, I'm totally embarrassed to like this game at all - I hate playing games involving other humans not in the same room as me, I hate repetitive games with one setting and one objective, and I abhor the playerbase of this game - but this game is like crack to me... gotta get my fix)

    I play it sometimes, I bought it and played it during the early beta stages. It's basically DotA with better graphics and a better engine, and it's fun and addictive. However, what ended up making HoN popular is probably what will hurt it eventually; players/support base.

    This is definitely not a newb-friendly game and you gotta know how to use your hero in and out. Now a days, you see more rage quitting than mic-raging and that annoys the hell out of me because all of a sudden, it's 5v4, then 5v3...and what could have been a decent game isn't anymore.

    I agree, most of the players are immature 5 year old cry babies. What you should do is play clan matches because if you dont this game is pure trash because of the community.

    That = Dota as well minus the mic raging. My PSR is in the dumps... went from 1606 to 150x in 2 days. been on a losing streak :(

    The worst in any game I've played yet. It's terrible. Almost all the players I met in that game have some serious issues.

    Ya, people do get ridiculously rage when playing this game...I have to tell myself to calm down at times when I am losing because the game is so intense...

    And why do you think they screwed over intense game playing in Asia? I live in Korea and I am playing just fine?

    I played the BETA and DoTA for many years as well.

    If you ever plan on enjoying these games, the most important skill to learn is "shrugging it off". In order to mitigate the incredible hate-fest in every game, I just go insane and try to make myself laugh. It really helps.

    Example:

    Hater01: OMG YOU ARE FEEDING U NUB!
    Me: MY SPOON IS TOO BIG!!
    Hater02: STFU
    Hater01: AND U! STORMEFFECT, U SUCK U CANT DO ANYTHING! GO FIND A SHOVEL AND BEAT YOUR FAMILY TO DEATH WITH IT AND THEN EAT BATTERY ACID AND DIE!
    ME: MY SPOOOON IS TOOO BIG!!!
    Hater02: QUIT AND KILL UR FAMILY
    ME: I AM A BANANA!!!!!!!!

    I often play games like DoTA with my girlfriend, and this skill was invaluable. Without it, I'm sure we'd have broken up by now. :)
