    Lot of stuff will run...

Most on med/low (Newer expect low). I was surprised what this card can actually run, it can do quite a bit, even if it is on low. Expect to never hit 60fps in anything except old games, and even then, shoot more for 30.

What kind of games do you like to play?

You could give Unreal Tournament 3 a shot. I don't know how well that would work with the GMA 4500 though. There's also Unreal Tournament 2004, Red Alert 3, Command & Conquer 3, and a few other games that don't come to my mind at this time.

Don't think it would be max. but you should get some pretty good settings that are close to it.

    running bf2 on max?

    no.

but you should be able to scrape out a very playable framerate at medium settings. consider yourself lucky being able to do that with an intel gpu at all.

^^ FC1 = one of my fave games of all time. Curious how it would run on the x4500? Wish I had plenty of money to just test all this stuff myself. :)

I used to run it on all low settings on a Toshiba w/GMA900 notebook with 512mb RAM at 800x600 or maybe it was 640x400 but it ran decent outside of firefights. It should run near high settings on the X4500 since it's from 2004. It's now on Diret2Drive for $10. KickA** game! :) Soon to be installed on my N80.

Agreed. I'd pay $20 for it if I had too. It's still an awesome game. And with decent hardware I highly recomend the 64bit extra content pack (also available in 32bit) and enabling HDR. But remember to disable FSAA as it doesn't work with HDR enabled.

COD 4 will run pretty smoothly on 1024x728 with mostly medium settings and no shadows. All of the games developed by valve will run (HL2, TF2, L4D). RPG-wise Neverwinter Nights 2 and Titan Quest are two very different but good choices.
