So, if I understand correctly, there are no monthly fees in this game? The trailer makes me think of Mass Effect, only MMO style.

IIRC, steam sometimes sells GA for less than $20 on one of those discount days.

Yes. The idea is to have small expansions every so many months and you would pay for that, to pay for the development of new content.

But you won't need to buy the expansion, but you won't be able to experience it either.

They decided to go the Guild Wars format.

After some changes and updates, IGN gave it 8.4, which is very good. And it seems Global Agenda fans are loyal, according to Hi-Rez believe in their surveys something like 85% of GA players recommend the game to their friends. That's pretty good. Not that I plan on playing it ;p

The company itself seems phenomenal. They seem to be very open and attentive to players. The people from the programmers, to marketing to executives are all very passionate about their game and have a shared vision. Different than a lot of the game studios out there. So that's another plus!

The game is privately funded by a millionaire (the CEO). You can play with him ingame (he plays all the time on an alt account).

He also chats with the players on the forum. :D
