The freq for the GPU is staying at 599Mhz, but it use to drop to 199/200mhz (according to Intel's XTU). Does anyone know what could cause the freq to stay this high?
Also the GPU driver version is 10.18.10.3496, and I use power saver plan.

I tried looking at mine using gpu-z and I also see that it reports its factory setting as 200mhz.. but it was running 600mhz according to the sensors. So maybe what sensors report are not the number we are looking for. (I checked speeds while on plugin power as well as on battery power with max life profile).

GPU-Z reports 600mhz as well, I even set the gpu for max battery in the control panel, but "balanced" & "max battery life" both use 600mhz, which means that the drivers are bugged. I have tried about 5 recent intel drivers & none will drop below 600mhz.

Yea.. I'm sure its running normal. I havn't had it take away from my laptops battery at all.
