ram: 4x 2 gigs of some super fast ram. i don't even know.

Where do you draw the line between a desktop and a laptop. My 87 lbs laptop gets pretty good 3dmark.

    oh he said laptop. hah.

do me a favor and don't buy your laptop based on 3dmark score.

its probably something with the hd 2600 xt. that is obviously not the fastest laptop, though.

err its probably something with dual 7950gtx's and a desktop cpu.

The Clevo D900C/D901C (aka. Sager 9260, PCMircroworks BlackHawk, etc..)
...has already broken the 10,000 barrier for 3DMark06.

    Thread here

Its expected for a notebook with desktop Core 2 Duo/Extreme and SLI MXM-HE(IV) 7950GTX's.

Well, many GPU's can't run 3dmark06. However technically the lowest score would be 3 I believe.

Just got a 5400 on 3DMark06. What do you guys think? Running driver 165.01 and defragging was all the optimization I did. Here are my specs:

Sorry, so does that mean that the result is OK? I played CoH on highest settings at full res and it ran like butter.

If it's not OK, do you have any suggestions for improving it? Sounds like you've done some nice tweaking.

Wow...that is absolutely insane. His CPU Score was higher than the GPU, heh. Makes me feel so thankful for the 7900gs and it's insane OC abilities.

FYI, if you are posting a 3dmark score, you might want to put the resolution next to it...

The free version defaults to 1280x1024, 1280x854, or 1280x800 depending on what resolution you have available. Most comparisons are done at 1280x1024 from what I can see.
