From what I heard it's absolutely worth at least 10$....back then I've paid 20$ 1 day before the release, but I didn't get the chance to play it. Eventually I will :)

    matter of taste really.
almost bought it for £19.99 last week. so glad i didnt as its now £4.99 but still wish i hadnt bought it.

not my sort of game. just wayyyy to many controls to remember.
ive always been a fps but bought tomb raider and loved it. this on the other hand is just not my cup of tea as us brits say.

Not sure really what is there to remember. Most of the buttons pop on the screen anyway. Have you played earlier Hitman games? New TR and Hitman are very different games, even if they look kinda similar.

I've completed few missions, good stuff. Not Bloodmoney, but still damn good. What really kills it for me is that new nonsense with disguises. Like cops can tell if you are a real one or fake. I've acquired a uniform (courtesy of some cop lying unconscious in some big box), but due to the large numbers of other policemen in the area I still had to stay in the shadows. Makes no sense! Other than that I kinda liked that instinct idea.

never played any of the other hitman games before.
ive been a first person shooter since i started gaming.
the new tomb raider has been the only other genre ive played and i loved that so thought this would be roughly the same.

What? You're not playing Bioshock 1 and 2? J/K

Really, cops can tell? Come on, seems there should be a "suspicion meter" or something so if you do something odd it raises suspicion, but not have a cop uniform and cops know instantly. Stupid. Reminds me of Splinter Cell. You have this huge glowing night vision helmet on, and if you're in the shadows of a hallway someone can walk right past you, but put one toe in the light and they're on you immediately. But I still liked the game. You just play by their game mechanics and it worked real well, at least the earlier ones.

I also play Brütal Legend. Multitasking is the key :D.
All that disguise thing is a bit different. For example, cops can stop a fake cop, gardener a fake gardener and so forth. Luckily a cook for example will never blow your disguise if you are dressed as a car mechanic or something else, but not a cook. Because every cook in the world knows each other.
And there is a suspicion meter, but there are some levels where it doesn't work quite well.
I think, it was better in earlier games. You get yourself a fancy FBI uniform, pour some fuel into fireplace, and watch the target's wife get cooked (and some people clapping :D). Still, a good game, I highly recommend it.
And not always you might want to play stealthy. There are times when you just have to get medieval on some bad punk hiney.
There was this level, in some orphanage. Bad guys killed all the nuns and security (kids were on the field trip). Mr. 47 was wearing a father's costume. I felt it to be more appropriate to exorcise the daemons with the help of my holy Uzis.

I myself got tired of playing the game by the rules and also just let all hell break lose, that's what games are for me anyway.

i done exactly this and have just finished the game, and yes it grew on me and i quite enjoyed it in the end. run and gun any baddy down with the odd stealth mode once in a while.
all in all a good game especially for £4.99 :D

    That's cold :D.
I actually have developed a sort of a set of rules in the years of playing Hitman games. Basically only bad guy harming/killing.
Them bad folks in orphanage, nun level, corrupt policemen in Hope - these people I don't hesitate to "neutralize." All the rest (gardeners, security guard, etc.), I try to avoid them, even knocking them out. But unfortunately I do have to do it sometimes, because some level design makes it impossible to pass undetected without playing dressing up. Which to be honest, saddens me a lot, since the suit Mr. 47 wears is one of a kind and it's way too hard to find a decent tailor these days. When I lost it in the explosion, I had to wear this till I got to the tailor.

i was the same. i class a baddy as i guy with a gun shooting at me but i kept getting penalized with a minus score for every kill.

my motto to stay alive was if they are shooting at me then they get their knakkers blown to kingdom come :D
