    Hey guys,
I'm hosting a small LAN at my apartment in two weeks and I'm looking for a list of solid, action LAN games we could play. There will be eight of us so far.

So far, we've got Team Fortress 2 down as our main FPS and either Company of Heroes of Command and Conquer as our RTS, but none of us seem to be able to come up with a good action game.

We used to play Giants: Citizen Kabuto back in the day, and we're looking for a similar experience if there is anything like that out there.

Well the Xbox360 will be running all night with Halo 3 so I think that pretty much covers it. Also have the Wii which will be running Strikers and Guitar Hero III.

    try Fortress Forever ( www.fortress-forever.com)

HL2DM is always fun with a bunch of people, but only if you're into deathmatch.

haven't had a lan for ages, but I remember most of the times the games were always the following

CSS, but youve got TF2 so yea that would be kewl, but noting beats the simplicity of CSS and plus there are so many custom maps and mods which make it even more worthwhile...to list a few...maps that are quite small, zombie mod, no gravity, a tweak so that when you shoot objects they fly away at amazing speeds (used to kill people) and many more.

Warcraft III normal and with mods..particularly the Dragon ball Z mod and one which hordes of enemies keep coming and you gotta work together to destroy em.

    Unreal Tournament 2004

Call of Duty was another alternative to CSS but not as great.
