    How Do I OC my 7970m

    Can anyone help me find a software that will let me OC my 7970m? I've tried MSI Afterburner but im not able to OC with it and Saphire Trixx doesnt seem to work either. Can anyone give me a hand at all?

    Trixx should work, but it might not work with the latest drivers. I have no idea, I use trixx for my 6990M.

    i changed the msiab.cfg file to allow non offical oc but when i do that it set all my clocks to 0 and i cant change them.

    Have you looked at Slick's guide? I believe most have found that helpful.

    Launch any application on max power setting ( 7970m) and than open msiafterburner, normaly u should be able to oc first if 7970m is active

    Oh so its the switchable graphics. But will i still need unofficial OC set?

    Well after activating unofficial overclocking, i boosted my gpu from Core: 850 MHz Memory: 1200MHz to Core: 920MHz Memory: 1460MHz. Then to make sure the OC was stable I used Intel Extreme tuning utility to stress test the gpu, the results...
    GPU Temp: 84 'C
    GPU Usage: 99%
    All clocks maintaining
    Works great!
