    How Effective Is PhysX

    Any one know how effective PhysX is in games ?
    I have 9800M GTX and T9600
    Worth to stay up-to-date ? But like every body know the lastest isin't always the best :D

    Depends what you mean by effective. If you're talking immersion, then I would say that PhysX is reasonably effective in that objects move a bit more realistically. That said, be aware that very few games take advantage of PhysX on more than a aesthetic level. The only game that took advantage in recent memory was Mirror's Edge and that only provided small enhancements like wind effects and breaking glass. With your GPU though you might enjoy the small touches. Just be sure you have the most up to date drivers.

    I stay up-to-date with grapich drivers, I should do it with PhysX also then...

    you only need to update physx drivers when you actually buy a newer game that uses them like mikespit1 said. the only time i actually downloaded drivers for physx was when i was playing cryostasis... it def helped. but there have since been very few games, if any, that advertise physx being a big part of the game.

    I have Version: 9.09.0428 installed, which is lastest. I update when nVidia Relase new version...
