My laptop is recently overheating ( i live in california) so i want to adjust the fans so they can stay on always. Is there any program that let me do so?

    P.S. Speedfan does't detect my fans :D

    if you are overheating...

when was the last time you cleaned out your fans and vents (from the dust clogs)?

    if never, then thats why.

Also SpeedFan is NOT a great program for notebooks.

    Refer to this:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=81852

and you cannot control the fan speed.. only in a few high-end notebooks that its possible to toggle the fan speed (or for certain Dell's use a utility to control fan speed).

everyone else needs to monitor the temps, routinely clean out the fans/vents, and make sure to only use the notebook on safe surfaces (clean, hard, flat... preferably notebook cooler)
.... NEVER use on lap, couch, bed, pillow, etc... since that will block the bottom vents/fan from getting airflow to properly keep the system cool
