Im actually getting really good frames in DX10 on medium, but i'd rather run it on Dx9 for even better performance. Thanks!

You can not run crysis on medium with DX 10..

This is how it goes for Crysis, as far as I know:

    DX 10 = very high
    DX 9 = high
    DX 9 = medium
    DX 9 = low

    Hope this helps...

Go to the GAMES folder in Vista and then right-click on the Crysis icon and you will get the option to play in DX9.

I don't know why but when I was running in DX10 mode and even though didn't have any of 'DX10' features on I didn't get as good frame rates as when I switched to DX9 mode.

it runs better in DX9, Dx10 is still in its infancy it has alot of bugs, even tho its supposed to look a tiny bit better, there is a somewhat big drop in performance, its just they need to work out the flaws thats all
