Can anyone provide me with a step by step guide to how to undervolt CPU? I'd like to undervolt my Duo 2 Core to save some energy and lower the heat production (once Dell sends me the freaking OS disk), because I leave my computer on all day, and don't need it for any program that requires a 4.44GHz clock speed...

1.) You don't have a 4.44GHz clock speed.
2.) When not in use, your computer will automatically clock down the lowest multiplier.
3.) You don't really have to worry about it because the new Intel chips have the lowest multiplier locked. This means that you're gonna be using .95V at the least no matter what.
4.) If you run your computer under load a lot and want to see if you can reduce heat, then look into undervolting. -

Thanks, so how do I undervolt?

You'll find it if you read the sticky. However, attempt at your own risk. I think Vespoli is sort of hinting you not to do it since the Core 2 Duos automatically downclock anyways.

I say go for it...I'll try to find the guide I had, but basically, wiht RMClock, just set a voltage (I think for a couple of the multipliers I set it to .95v on my friends C2D) and just stress it for a fe wminutes, then try for lower if possible. Do this with all of the multipliers...it'll primarily have a larger effect on the higher multipliers.
My AMD can run down to .75v for its 800 mhz speed
