I now run it on HIgh settings 720P and the FPS is good, so i would like to add 2X AA but the AA in options is greyed out and it says AAA. How do i make it 2x?

I'm guessing you are running the game on DX9 which doesn't allow you to put on any AA. Run it at DX10 or DX11 and it will allow it. Although AA does seem to destroy FPS. :(

Yeah it is, specially for the G92 nvidia chips. My previous GTX260m never managed to have decent fps at DX10. Regardless of resolution.

Stick to DX9, it may not look nearly as good but it works well and fluidly. DX10 requires 460m/HD5870m to have a bit of an acceptable performance.

    I could easily play FC2 maxed out(DX10) @ 1366x768 on my 260M GTX.

I was responding to ryzeki's post, in which he said one realistically needs a 460m/HD5870 to play in DX10.

No, I meant as the topic subject is about; Metro 2033 is quite demanding in DX10. I did not mean ALL games. You need a higher end GPU to play metro rather fluidly in DX10, and G92 does not seem to have what it takes. Maybe the 285m can, but I haven't find any info on it.

I think there is a tool called "nhancer" that can help you tweak a lot of AA settings and also use AA with dx9.

I'll be testing a 285m soon. might be more like a 286? at stock the core is 675mhz instead of 575
