Ok, i have a Dell Inspiron 6400 notebook, with windows vista ultimate, it has an ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 graphics card. im trying to play Call of Duty 2 on it but it doesn't work when i initialize the game, it just stops responding. i've installed Directx 10 and the latest macromdia flash player as well as the v1.5 patch.
I have no idea what to do so please help me
    Thanks

Maybe the pay is too low, i've seen disgruntled employee who won't work because the pay is too low before. Not sure about a game though. I would give it a pay raise anyway.

i don't excactly have advanced knowledge about stuff like this, its just pissing me off that i have a nice new laptop but can't play the game that i wanted to get it for, so i'd need detailed insructions for stuff like installing new drivers for the graphics card so the game works

I believe the idea is that Vista runs the programs with the same sort of settings that XP would use, so that the program "thinks" it's being run on XP. I'm glad it worked out for you.

That might be because of you GPU, or the driver for the GPU is not optimized for vista. Try to update the driver, and lower the settings.

I had a problem like this when running Call of Duty 2 on Vista. You can get it running i think by disabling Anti aliasing(when in directX 9) or running it in DirectX 7 mode..

Omega doesn't have any vista drivers, I don't think. You could try LaptopVideo2Go.
