Hi
I cannot decide between buying either of these two laptops, the Acer 6920 and 5930. The 5930 has a 2Ghz Core 2 Duo P7350 and a GF9600GT with a 15.4 inch screen.
The 6920 has a 2ghz T5750 and ati radoen HD3650 with a 16 inch screen.
both cost £599 and have 3GB ram. The 6920 does also have blueray but people say that the screen is not good enough to show blueray in its full ince it is not full HD.
How would these laptops preform for games such as company of heroes, world in conflict, COD4 and fallout three when it comes out?
I do not expect high graphics settings in any of them but if either of the laptops could do medium I would be happy.
Thanks for any replies.

Both the 9600M GT and the HD 3650 use GDDR3 memory chips, so they should play those games well.
The 5930G is a very good notebook. Its quite cheap as compared to the DV5t. There is a review of it at NotebookCheck. Plus it is based on a newer platform as compared to the 6920 and should be more power efficient.

In terms of gaming I'd say they'll perform about the same. The 3650 performed just a bit better than the 8600 GT, and clearly the 9600 GT performs at least a bit better than the 8600 GT. The blu-ray drive is a big plus, especially at the same price. Even though the screen may not support 1080p, if you have a DVI or HDMI port on the laptop you can out put that video to a nice LCD TV or computer monitor that DOES support 1080p. If it were me I'd go for the blu-ray, even if you get slightly less gaming performance out of the 3650 (minimal differences). Medium setting shouldn't be a problem as long as you aren't playing at super-high res (anything less than 1680x1050 should work fine).
