The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've checked that basic thread about graphics cards, and the NViDIA 8400m GS was at the end of the list (I think that makes it better) than the ATI Radeon X1400 but I was wondering if thats true.. Is the NViDIA 8400 better than the ATI card? Thx for your help.

    Yeah, it is, the 8400 is about a 7600

    the 8400gt is about a 7600.. the gs is like a 7400.5
