    How do you check your framerate in games?

    Hey I'm running oblivion and I really cant tell that much of difference between my framerates right now... So is there anyway to check exactly what my framerate is?

    Download Fraps, keep Fraps open, load up Oblivion, press F12 and look at the top-left corner.

    FRAPS kills frame rates...

    Doesn't Oblivion have a built-in FPS monitor? I think I read that somewhere from one of the guides written by the moderators...

    FRAPS is the lightest-weight FPS counter you can use... not sure where you are getting your information from.

    I use Rivatuner to check my temparatures as well as my FPS while gaming. I definately recommend it, though i havent used FRAPS or any other so I cant really compare.
