I tried to install Catalyst 9.12 for XP with Mobility Modder and it doesn't work. The program was installed but the Catalyst is not working. When I click the Catalyst program from Display Properties, nothing happened. I tried to remove older Catalyst from Control Panel and it didn't help. The only way that I can make it work is if I install it in a clean system where no previous version of Catalyst was installed. Obviously, newer Catalyst 9.12 for Win XP seems to have a conflict with the older version.

So, I need to completely remove the old version of ATI Catalyst from my system. How do you do that with Windows XP?

Have you tried Driver Sweeper? After uninstalling it via. control panel first, ofcourse.

As MyDoom mentioned first uninstalled CCC via the control panel or double click on the ATI Catalyst setup routine. It will give you the option to uninstall there.

Boot into Safe Mode then run Driver Sweeper. Install your new drivers next.
