Any recommendations for a simple software program to monitor gpu and cpu temperatures (particularly while playing games)?

Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards.

For the ingame monitoring you can try EVGA precision: http://downloads.guru3d.com/EVGA-Precision-1.3.3-download-2112.html

Personally I use HWMonitor, as it gives me all the temps that I need to know when gaming

However, I plan on trying RivaTuner so I don't have to hit Alt+Tab each time I want to see my temps.

All the above are also fine ;)

    Hope this helps :)

See the link in my profile.

Before this, I'd just use HWMonitor, but I like in-game better, and HWMonitor in the background to record peak temps.

I read this guide and its what i do now, although how can you keep the temperature monitoring in your taskbar while not having that monitoring window open?

Set Core Temperature to display in taskbar, it's one of the settings. Then just close the monitoring window and send RivaTuner to tray.

    did you see my guide?

    it works quite well.

I am trying to make an update for it to make everything automated to show all devices in on-screen display in RivaTuner. :)

... like in the pic above.
