    How does theRadeon HD 4570 512ram compare to the 3650 256 ram?

    I was looking between getting a Studio 17, but then he got rid of the option I was looking for as well as getting rid of the WLED screen... Anyway, The Studio 15s had been updated with the graphic cards being bumped to the 4570 with 512mb.

    Sorry if this is a FAQ.

    You should look in the GPU comparison thread for a more complete answer, but in a nutshell, the HD3650 is significantly more powerful.

    The amount of VRAM does not give the HD4570 any more power. Honestly, you would likely not notice any performance gain between the 256mb and 512mb versions >.>

    But yeah, the HD4570 is marginally better than the HD3470, but it's still quite a bit behind the HD3650.

    The HD4570 is crippled by its 64 bit bus,I suppose.
