    Abesh,

That looks like a great setup for gaming. You have the core duo which is a great processor and the 7800Go, which is a higher end video card. The maxed out RAM will also help.

    Looks great man.

    Welcome to NBR!!!

    Hey,
Thanks a lot pal. It surely took some load off my shoulders. By the way, what is a good driver (preferable nvidia) which i can download for the Graphics card ? I heard dell ships it's own driver with it ?
A link would be very appreciated.
    Thanks again !

    Cheers,
    Abesh

I think you should get the E1705 instead. They are pretty much the same, but te E1705 is more popular, at least where I live. They say that the inspiron 9400 is a buisness computer, but it's not. The 9400 and the E1705 are both multimedia computers, and now also gaming computers since they released the 7800go. The E17 is what I would have gotten if I knew that that card would be available.

I agree, they have great drivers. You might also want to google the Xtreme-G drivers, which I use. :p

That's right - according to the latest conversion rates, 1,25,000 rupee = $2,783.96 USD.

Yups ! The conversion rate is roughly round $1 = Rs45.
But trust me on this, you should this config for roughly $300 less in the States. One more Question ( I guess i've been asking a lot :)) How do i know which Driver from either tweaksrus or laptopvideo2go should i choose ? and how do i get to know which will work for the go 7800 (Pls note not the GS or the GTX)
    Thanks a lot in advance.
