I'd go with the 460/560 Ti over the 450 or go for the Radeon 6870 or 6950. You will find yourself that the extra couple of dollars and really boost the graphics experience to the games. Otherwise a solid build for the money. Also consider going 650W PSU to help future potentials of OC for even more power and profit! :p

(PS: inb4lock before mods send you to the yawning chasm called DTR)

I'd rather go with a Phenom II X4 over an Athlon, but as long as it is a quad-core with decent clock speed, it should be fine for the time being. You just won't have good OC potential with it.

Well it is going to happen. Trust me, the mods should be stepping in anytime now...

No problem. You still got a good budget build there. I personally would save and suck it up until I can do a kick-butt Intel build! :p

PS: Surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet... Is this a sign of an underground discussion to occur? :p

    Spoke too soon ;)

As I told you in your other thread, desktop-related questions belong at DTR. Besides, excessive bumping and cross-posting are both highly frowned upon on online forums, and are both against the rules at NBR. Thread locked.
