How long will a Geforce Go6600 (128mb) last? I mainly use it to play games and would like to know if it will still works on most new games in 2007. I'm planning to buy a new laptop with a DX10 card later this year (not sure when) but hopefully my old 6600 will last long enough for me before I go and buy a new laptop. Thx.

It'll run the games, but you'll probably have to play it on low to low-medium settings. At any rate, it should last you until you buy that brand spankin' new DX10 capable computer. Just make sure you don't buy it too soon and overspend =].

Thx for the answer... However, if I shouldn't buy it too soon, then when would be a good time to buy it?

You have enough power to last you until the one you want with DX10 comes out. Hopefully by summer you'll have some decent options, maybe even sooner than that from the way things are starting to look.
