    How long will the 6990m last at 720p

    I have a 47in tv(1080p) and because I sit back 11 feet 720p looks identical. I was wondering how long would you guys estimate the 6990m lasting at 720p?

    2 more years.

    You might have to OC and might have to turn down a couple other settings for a few games towards the end of those two years, but that's just my opinion.

    Seriously dude, STOP making all these threads about your 6990M.

    You have made six (6!!) threads about your GPU the last 2 days. All of them in the "Gaming" subforum.
    You could have easily have made one thread with questions and kept it there.

    6990 is close to 6870 desktop so yeah it will last 1-2 more yeears

    1-2 years seems a bit low to me. My mobility 5830 (w/ gddr3 ram) does well at 720p, and I expect it to do so for the foreseeable future.
