For me it is 60/81MHz on Ati x700 128MB DDR. And I did one interesting test to see how the powerplay stands in comparison to the extreme underclocking in terms of the battery life, check it, you might find it interesting. ;)

    Cheers,

    Nicely done ikovac!

This and Game profiles in ATT are a winning combination! :)

Thanks Vidko :) and yes ATT is probably the best ati tool you can have. NHC/ATT combo in my case has brought me 10 degrees lower temp while playing (65-67 instead of 75 due to 1,1V undervolting on max multiplier), 35% better 3dmark05 (due to 415/435 and latencies) and 30% better battery life (due to 60/81) in Windows. Do I have to say that I have the same stability as before?

I forgot to say that I had the USB registry fix installed, and it didn't change a lot in my opinion.
It is intersting to see that both in extreme underclocking (60/81) and extreme overclocking (415/435) in my case Memory must/can go around 20 MHz more than GPU. I hope that proves some of my past suggestions that memory is actually supposed to be faster than GPU. Even in extreme overclocking. I know many of you will disagree, but I still think that it is the case. :)

    Cheers,

I am very happy to hear that you broke another record Ivan. I am reading a lot of threads about the x700 of you :) I own the same videocard.

One question: it is now overclocked from 351/297 to 351/312... Is that a good overclock mate? :)

    Thanks all,

    Hitman :)

ATI Tray is excellent, nice post Ivan!

Congratulations on getting such low clocks - I haven't tried below 100:100 on mine, but will next time I go on battery.

I installed that registry fix as well, but I was never sure if I was being affected or not. Users are being encouraged not to install that because it can make your system unstable. If it does, I'll just delete the keys.

    Hi Hitman, Chaz,
Hitman - I would recommend at least 350/350 or even 350/370 if you can set it. The speed gain is considerable, and the heat is still normal. You should be able to set it very easy, without latencies.
Chaz - yeah, I also think that reg fix isn't doing much in my case, but it is easily removeable. And if you will be testing the extra low frequencies, do it with caution! 85 seems to be the limit for DDR1 and around 65 for GPU. Otherwise I get locks and familiar issues. It is very similar to the overclocking!

    Cheers,
