    About $40. I think.

I did spend $50 AUD on a disc copy of Modern Warfare 2, which somehow tied itself to Steam.

I've got 67 games... not sure how that all translates to cash, though ;) Probably a couple hundred bucks, but I've gotten a lot more for my money through Steam than I would have through traditional sales.

$100? It would be more but my Xbox eats all of the money I have for Steam.

Impressive. That's a good 3-4 years worth of purchases.

In my case, I haven't spent a cent.

Not very much compared to how many games I have, I only buy when things are on sale and my library is full of top tier games I've purchased for less than $10.

My games list says I have 41. Only spend around $200.

    I don't know... This much?

Don't even buy games in stores anymore, a week ago my wife was wandering around some clothing store, so bored I went to EB Games. I went to the PC Games, some there not as much as there used to be. The manager comes over and says "Don't see many people looking at PC Games anymore." *Goofy grin I turn and say "Yeah, I buy everything digital download or Steam now... Hmmm not much use for stores anymore." His face just sank, guess they are not doing so well here. 2 EB Games have gone under here since last year.

I rarely ever bought anything from Gamestop when they did carry a decent amount of PC games. Although periodically I used to check them out because they'd have great clearance prices on game from time to time.

I would guess around $1300...over three or so years though...(really longer than that if you go back to my Half-Life 2 purchase from the store that required me to load up Steam, but I didn't start really going for digital downloads until three years ago...)

    @htwingnut:

Holy crap... Were do you find the time to actually play that many games??? I might go through 10 games in an entire year.

As for me, I just got Steam a few weeks ago. So far, around $30.

Well, I used to play a LOT. Up until a couple years ago I was married with no kids and a good job. Had a lot of free time. Most of those Steam games were acquired from the rock bottom sales and lots of them from the Steam packs where you get like 5-10 games with a single purchase.

Now I only play about 5-6 games a year if that. Although I do pick up classics on Steam or gog.com with a sale just so it can replace my old CD.

I think "IWantMyMTV" has as much if not more than I do.

I've also been buying Steam games since Half-Life 2 came out.

Just over $1,000 according to Steam Calculator. It's not entirely accurate since it doesn't account for sales, which is how I get the majority of my games. If I had to guess, I'd say I've actually spent somewhere in the vicinity of $600.

When I have more time, I'll go dig out all my Steam email receipts and add them up for the actual number.

Just used steam calc +1 to whomever stated it first, didn't know it existed.

~ $2550. I know I haven't spent that much because of all the deals I got, and this stretches all the way back to 2004 so even so $2550 / 6 years is ~$35/mo, so about one game per month on average.

Hehe Steamcalculator says I'm spent this much but they don't take into account sale prices.

I've gone and added up my spendings myself and it actually goes to around $2000.

By the Steam calculator I've got $961 invested, but by my own calculations I've spent $432. So, on average, I pay a little less than 50% of the normal price when I buy from Steam. Not bad if I may say so. :D

How much have I spent on Steam? Too much. Its waaay too easy to spend money with it. It takes less clicks to spend than it does for me to get into my internet banking and check how much money I've got.

That right there makes it dangerous. :O
