    Hey guys,

    Currently got an asus a6va, 1gb ram, pentuim m 1.7ghz, and x700.

Running bf2, the first 5 minutes of the game are very stuttery...annoying. I'm thinking of getting another gig stick, to eliminate the stutter, but I'm not sure if it will because of the cpu maybe bottlenecking?

Anyone know any wiser from me? :)

    ta!

Yeah, dont worry, another stick should get rid of it. It wont be the Pentium-M, it has plenty of power.

Yeah that's ram - with 1gb as well it used to be stuttery for me for the first few minutes until it gradually smoothed itself out.

Even with 1.5gb of ram, it makes a huge difference, smooth from the very start of the round.

Yeah dont play BF2, BF2142 unless you have a minimum of 1gig of RAM, I learned that the hard way by using 768MB for a while. But it plays like a charm with 2GB.
