I kid you not, I get bore of games easily, and it nice to have a tons of game without having to use a game disk, and I can play it anywhere I go :D

I am guessing 500gb drive won't store all of these game, and I'm guess 1.5 terabyte can?

Also this is only the game part section, I plan on having around 300 movies as well.

I have a gaming pc that has 3 terabyte but I don't like gaming pc cause I stick around in one spot all day and that bore me. With gaming laptop games that I don't like I end up playing cause it so fun being able to play everywhere.

All of these game I will play eventually when steam have them on sale.

I wish PS3 games were compatible with the PC then I would have the ultimate gaming machine!

I wish I could play PS3 Series like Uncharted, Motorstorm, Final Fantasy, Red Dead Redemption, Infamous, Socom, Resistance, Killzone, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom, MAG, God of War, White Knight Chronicle, Wipeout, etc...

Yes I am a gaming addict, but I actually only play games when I'm bore or not outside playing sports :D

If those are the only games you need then 1TB will cover it. But yeah 1.5TB is sufficient.

I've probably got a library larger than Bearclaw and fits in 1TB. I use compression to back them all up (copy steamapps folder) to the 1TB and still have about 150GB free.

Dam you must never be bore? I was wondering would an external hard drive be able to hold steam game? Why do you copy steam games? They are there forever unless steam server crash which I hope never happen.

Those are not going to be my ONLY games :D

I want as many games as possible and I have about 500 movies hoping to go up to 1000 movies, so would I need a bigger HD than 1.5 terabyte?

How much money did you guys spent?

Well server crash is nothing, it's if Steam folds and doesn't exist any more. I keep them just to avoid redownloading them. I have them all downloaded on my desktop but back them up to my external portable drive for easy access instead of waiting hours to download again.

And I've been a member since 2004, and with the regular sales, it's hard to resist. Although I think I'm oversaturated with games. I don't even have time to play them all any more having two kids and all, but still a hobby and hate to pass up a good deal in the event that I "might" be able to play. :p

lol I think we have similar libraries. You may actually have more, I dunno.

    @ Cheesy

Some of those PS3 games you wish you could play on the PC, I play on my laptop using PCSX2 or PS2 emulation. I also play DS, GBA, GBC, Snes and much more. I actually prefer playing all of those rather than using any of my consoles. By the way, I have a 750GB HDD for my games with 252GB free. If I only installed the ones I play most often I could probably get away with a 512GB SSD. I may get a 512GB Crucial RealSSD M4 once the prices come down even further.
