this computer is known to have problem with overheating.... so i pushed it..... its been running @90c for over a year CPU stays @80 c
pretty strong ...lol

lol HP claims a BIOS update fully fixed the Overheating, when they really flashed it so it wouldn't shut off and so the fans would kick on sooner -

no, but its getting up there.
120 C = 250 F
a normal over baking temperature might be around 175 degrees C = 350 F -
i think it is a misread. your laptop should have shut down itself.

so they flashed it not to shut down @ extreme temps -
