HELL YEAH ZOMBIE PANIC! SOURCE
When I first found that game I played like 40 hours a week, so don't feel too bad
My girlfriend wasn't happy though >_> -
I wish I had that much time to game..
-
haha
I'll be honest. I don't have the time.
More honesty, I leave games running sometimes. This is semi skewed. -
Okay I take the lead for pathetic-ness then, when I had 85ish hours for the past two weeks on ZPS it was all play time >_>
Oh, I don't have the time either. I just get addicted to games and then choose them over sleep. -
Yeah, that happens too...
-
I always wondered, is the steam rating only based on how much time you play? If so I guess the higher the sadder lol
-
I usually only have time to game at night and by then I'm so dang tired I just pass out. Can't wait for this summer! =)
-
I'm sadder than you.
I use steam overlay with my games, so it adds up to

I used to put so much time into gaming in high school, now I'm lucky if I get 12 hours a week in.

Leaving laptop on and counting the hrs, does it sound like genuine and real gaming?
-
Don't worry.
If I didn't have dates I'd be up there in zombie counts, too. -
Well according to steam i played 26.5hrs in the past 2 weeks
I scored a 8.3 on the steam rating so i guess im almost sad :S -
My steam time over the past 2 weeks is 85 hours, and at least 40 hours of that was just the past 4 days playing Saints Row 2 in CooP. But hey, it was a ton of fun! I also did a TON of other stuff those days, but that's what I happen to enjoy.
Now if you choose to game over sleeping, or hygiene, or basic.. well living related things, then you have an obsession, but hey it's your life, be my guest if you want to die prematurely -
i cant game online .....well i can but i lag because my ping is 1800
i wish i was sad -

I play about six-seven hours of games a week. Maybe more, just depends on my mood. I mostly play Starcraft right now, and a few other RTSs scattered in there. But, my VAIO has been overheating, so I'm just waiting for my new laptop to arrive to return to full gaming mode.

Though it happened a few months ago, I think I had over 100 hours on Peggle at one point. >.>

Thats the best I can do having a social life and all. I used to play so MUCH more, but found out how much better life is when your not in front of a computer screen half your life.
In response to what unknown555525 said:
I have to say I think excessive gaming (over a hour or 2 a day average) is not good for you and really limits the person you can be and the people you meet and the opportunities you get in life. My life has changed so much for the better since I relaxed my gaming habits and now I have a girlfriend, I'm in better shape, my grades in College are way up, I'm learning a new language, I'm informed on the current political situations of not only my home country (Canada), but of many countries all over the world. Also I can sleep better, I eat better, I feel better and because of that I don't complain as much, have a better relationship with my family members and friends and since I have more time for them now the relationships are much more meaningful.
I substituted my excessive gaming habits with learning, taking care of my body and really getting out there and making meaningful friends that will last a lifetime.
I did however have to move away from my home country to get this perspective on life and I know I sound preachy, but I've been on both sides and really what are you contributing to the world when half of your (awake) life is spent indulging in digital entertainment? Games are exactly like drugs; an escape from reality and when used excessively where do you get yourself?
I think it is good if someone feels bad about their gaming habits because that is the first step of understanding how much of your life you are wasting if you are addicted to games. Hopefully somewhere down the road, like what happened with me, every excessive gamer gets the change to see what life would be like if he/she took most of the time they do gaming and used it to exorcise, read the daily news and about things that interest them, do more homework or apply to school and and talk with their family and friends.
I love games, but they shouldn't rule you life. -

I've been way waaay sadder than that! -
Well 3 years ago i played Gunbound WC during the Grand Prix (an internal tournament) 15 hours a day for 3 weeks... (during vacations)... That was too much, i don't think i'll play at that rate never again, not good for my body, not good for relations, not good at all...
Eventhough i'm agree with unknown555525 when he says is not bad to play if you enjoy it, if you have fun with it, what Exostenza says is also true... When gaming becomes an obssesion, that's bad... Imagine going to the cinema and watch 5~6 movies in a row everyday...
Playing 3~4 hours a day is more than enough imho, use the other time to study, hang out, improve relations with friends, family, girl/boyfriend, etc...
And well, i guess that also depends on age... When your a kid, or still young (up to 17 more or less) you still don't have the conscience of responsability you could have when you're older... it's totally different to be in High School than being in a University... Besides, you start to work, your love relashionships become to be more serious, start to think in moving away and live by yourself, so the time you have to spend playing games will be less... Is not that you'll not play anymore, but you'll play less...
How sad am I? (how about you?)
