    How strong is the 9800M GS, ATI Equivelent?

    At 2.64GHz, my CPU is typically worth between 2,350 and 2,400. It's almost a 1 MHZ: 1 Point ratio.

    yeah the 9800m gs does surprise me overclocked. it beats out my single 3870 by alot. but my crossfirs is a different story.

    It handles extra voltage well, and the G50VT has a decent single-card cooling system, or I don't think the overclocks people are getting with the GS would be feasible.

    I'd have a dual-card set-up over it any day though, but I couldn't afford it.

    I've taken quite nicely to this slot cooling system on our Asus G50s. Works very well.

    My GPU top's at 84C in Crysis. In 3dmark at 82C, so I'm think my temp's are good
