GPUZ doesnt accurately show my fan speed, it just shows it as 100%, even though its just at like 10%. when my gpu reaches 95 degrees, then it starts going to 100%. Is there anyway way to check my fan speed at the moment and anyway to constantly keep it at 100%?

you can use HWmonitor as well.

but if your GPU is going past 90C degrees... you better do the following:
    - make sure its ONLY being used on clean, hard, flat surfaces ...preferably a notebook cooler
    - always clean out the vents and fans regularly... to prevent dust clogs.

iti stays below 90 when SLI is disabled. when it's enabled, it goes uptil 95. is there a way to set my fan speed to 100% all the time?

Only applicable to certain Dell notebooks, but if you have I8kfanGUI installed there's an option to force the fans to high speeds for as long as the program is running.

Disregard the above if you don't own a Dell, but as you didn't state which notebook you were using I thought it worth suggesting.

k, its done installing. it gives me totally different gpu temp readings, gpuz says its at 77 degrees celcius, whereas the i8kfangui tool says its at 56 degrees celcius. which one is the right temp?

    What does HW Monitor say?

Incidentally, SLI tends to run warmer as far as I can tell.

HWMonitor doesn't tell me the fan speed. Should it?

And what about Speedfan? Nobody mentioned it.

I was referring to the temperatures. Since you mentioned that i8kfangui and GPU-Z were showing different figures.

HWMonitor does tell the fan speed :/

    SpeedFan is good also.

Sometimes I8fankGUI doesn't read temperatures correctly, what I did was to download HWmonitor and compare those readings with I8kfanGUI. If there's a big difference there's a temperature offset for I8k which can help bring both readings in line with each other.

i8fankgui only keeps the fans of my cpu and GPU 1 on max. it wont boost my second gpu fan, i pressed my hand to the base and i listened to it, it wasnt at max speed. is it possible to make both fans max speed?

It stopped maxing the 2nd fan for me after one of the BIOS updates addressing the G84 and G86 problems was installed on my machine. I have yet to find a workaround for this so what you have right now is the best you'll get for the program.
