Hi all,
I have a Sager NP8658S Laptop, which has one HDMI port and 2 mini Displayports. It also has a Nvidia GTX 980M graphics card.
My monitor is a Acer GD235HZ. It is a 1080p 120hz 3D capable monitor. It holds a DVI and an HDMI input. I do not wish to use 3D, though.
My question: how exactly can I use my 120hz monitor as a display for my laptop?
I've tried using a normal HDMI cable that came with my Xbox One but it can only do 60hz.
Thank you.

You need to use the DP.. they you can go beyond 60hz

A little bit of maths here:
2560x1600x60 = 245760000
1920x1080x120 = 248832000
Looks about right.
How to connect 4k laptop to a 120hz 1080p monitor?
