I've tried searching high and low, but can't find anything here about how to actually overclock the 7600go. I'm new to all this, so I was wondering if you guys could just share your wisdome and knowledge :)

cool bits hack, check the compal forums, there should be a sticky with instructions on how to do it. or you can uninstall ur old drivers and isntall laptopvideo2go drivers, which are better than ur stock manufacturer drivers (and more up to date) which has overclocking ability unlocked from the get go.

Riva Tuner works well. So does Nvidia's coolbits. There is a sticky in the Compal forum for overclocking the go 7600.

The one thing to keep in mind is to go slow, and test with every clock increase. Be mindful of signs of trouble or failures and do not go too fast. You don't want to cause damage just to squeeze out a few more FPS.

Coolbits is the best in my opinion, the detect optimal frequencies option can save you tons of time and frustration as well, I usually run it 3-5 times, then take the lowest clocks it spits out, and go from there. Just be paitent and go slow if you want to go higher, I just stick with lowest, its always been a significant bump for me.
