    How to read temperatures in HWMonitor?

    What does SYSTIN, CPUTIN, And AUXTIN mean in Hwmonitor. Thanks...first time downloading it.

    I've only ever seen those readings in various desktops.

    Probably means System Temperature Input, CPU and Auxiliary whatever that is ._. System might be the overall temp of the motherboard maybe? CPU's clearly the CPU Temp and the Aux, no idea ._.

    ^Yea. Usually those are bogus, or are chipset temperatures, or in some cases video card temp sensors. But like Forge said, I've only seen them on desktop boards, and 75% of the time they were bogus readings.

    I have learned to take HWMon with a grain of salt. When I get bogus readings on my Desktop of +1.74 (+12v) and my 2500rpm CPU fan sometimes reads at 335,000+ rpm :rolleyes:

    And my laptop GPU temps read 47c when it's been off for hours and just powered on but the CPU temps read 28c. I wonder why I even bother with HWMon.
