Okay so i wanted to ask if there is a way to manually adjust the memory that my video card uses from my RAM and make it a constant. For instance my shared memory is 2048 MB and the video card's minimum memory is 64 MB and the maximum of the shared memory is 1024 MB so how can i set the card to constantly work at about 512 MB no matter what game or program i'm running on my laptop. My vga is Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-4500MHD-GMA-X4500MHD.9883.0.

It should automatically only take what it needs when you're playing a game. You may be able to set it in the BIOS though, when you start up, look near the bottom of the screen, it should say something like 'Press F1/F12/Delete/etc. to enter BIOS'. Then just scroll through the options and change the video memory to what you want.

Yeah i was pretty much aware of that, but i just couldn't find such an option in the BIOS menu on my laptop. I thought i knew where to look since i found it on the BIOS on my PC but not so lucky for the laptop.

Don't worry about how much it says it uses, it should only take what it needs. And since it's an X4500 I doubt it would even need 128MB of RAM (I'm sure it wouldn't be able to play games at decent enough settings to max out that 128MB).
