    How can I start a new multiplayer account in modern warfare 2? Is it ever possible? Thanks for any help!

    It should be with the steam account that you tied the game with.

    Yep, I think you would need to create a new Steam account to get a new MW2 account.

    ^^as above. it would then show up on your steam account as an alias to your original user name.

    I had this same question to. So it's not like mw1 where you can make another profile? Quite a bummer because I'd like to first learn the weapons and find out what works for me than make a good player. Really don't like the changes they made on this COD grrr :mad:

    Nope I wanted to do the same because I started off poor on mw2, so my K/D isn't that good because it started off so badly, but I don't think you can make another profile like on the earlier versions on COD.

    I don't get why it matters what your k/d is on the pc. No one can see it at all. On 360 and PS3 they can, but not on pc

    You shouldn't bother worrying about your leaderboard states, that's mean much. You should focus more on being a team player and working with others, or improving your own personal skill.
