I have a 570m which is basically an 8600m GT but right now it seems like I am bound to the cruddy quadro drivers rather than the geforce ones. Is there any way that I could use the geforce drivers on my 570m? Modded inf? Or would that not work? I have also heard that you can basically trick the 570m into thinking it's an 8600m GT, at least on the driver side? I've seen some guides but they're at least 3 years old. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Just get the Quadro "Graphics Driver" from the NVIDIA downloads section. I've found that works just fine on my Latitude with the NVS 160m which is just an 8400m GT.
