I've got this hp pavilion and I modded the vga bios and got the 2d from 1.1v to 0.96v and got the 3d from 1.2v to 1.280v but I get no more stability. I got it running at 550Mhz from it's 425Mhz stock clock and wouldn't mind 600-650Mhz if I can mod it to 1.3v or something like that. I hard modded the vga bios with a 3d clock of 550Mhz and a Throttle clock of 500Mhz, 2d is at 100mhz and 0.96v.

Anyone know the VID layout on the Nvidia MCP67 chipset/ Nvidia 7150M chip? It shouldn't be too difficult right?

Amd turion 64 x2 TL-68 2.4Ghz Running at 2.6Ghz and 4GB ddr2-800 at ddr2-867 helps out a lot. The overclock boosted fps about 15-20fps lol

This is for fun it runs pretty good now getting 30fps on Insane 2 and getting 30fps on most other games which are playable but it could still use some more juice. I modded the clamping force on the heatsink so it's extremely tight on the chip and runs 60-65C in game at 550Mhz. Maybe I could get 1.5v and 800Mhz out of it and about 80C in game lol

I hope we got some nvidia engineers on here who designed the chip themselves who could help me out :)

YOu are really considering to increase your voltage by 25 procent? This will kill your card, or greatly reduce its lifespan(but more then 50% probably), I suggest 10% is relaly the max on voltage increase(even though I recommend not going higher then 5-6 procent increase).

LOL well I just wanna get more than 1.2v that's all. Can I upload a pic of the motherboard and all the chips around the gpu so we can identify which one is which and so I can tac a wire on one to the other to yield more 3d voltage?

This is the best pic of my board and 7150m I could find. If needed i'll take my laptop apart and take a clearer picture.

Take picture of front and back and higher quality, might got a friend who can figure something out. Its nice if we could read the numbers, and could you post what laptop you got exactly.

These are from my Motorola Atrix and it's 5MP camera which may not be sufficient. Once I get my Note II working I can take pics using it's 8MP camera and it's a lot better if you need me to...

    bump!

Which chip do I need to pencil mod? Can't I just use a dot of solder to connect the two side rather than a pencil? I figure a dot of solder would be more dependable...

Here are some higher quality pics from my 8MP Samsung Galaxy Note 2 the last pic was 5MP from Motorola Atrix
