    How well does THE SIMS 2 run on 7400 go ?

    anyone with 7400go try the game yet ? I have a laptop coming with 7400go card inside. my main specs
    Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2600 (2.16 GHz)
    2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB)

    When it comes, try it, let us know how it runs. Based on the system requirements for the S2, it will run fine.

    The sims 2 will run on all chips ranging from the GMA 900 upwards (and if you look at my list the 7400go sits well above it), if you were to create a list of "must be compatable" titles then the sims series would be on it simply due to its popularity with the masses. You might need to tweak the details but im sure you will get it to run very playably considering you can with the GMA 900.

    just to update-

    The sims 2 runs v v v smooth on dv8000t with 7400go and 2 gig ram and
    t2600 duo core. However, I am going to return it and reorder one with the new 7600 card.
