UPGRADE TO WINDOWS VISTA Express Upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium from XP Media Center Edition edit
LCD PANEL 15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display with TrueLife™ edit
MEMORY 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm edit
HARD DRIVE 80GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive edit
OPTICAL DRIVE 24X CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive edit
    VIDEO CARD 256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™ edit

    Here is a list:

Oblivion: 1280*800, low settings, no AA, no AF, (maybe) Bloom. Oblivion is very demanding. I have trouble running it at those resolutions with my X700.
WoW: 1280*800 with highest settings possible. WoW is not demanding at all.
BF 2142: 1280*800, low settings with 2x AA should be playable at around 30 fps.

    Charlie :)

My 6400 can do Oblivion at that res medium, though only if you turn the water reflections off. WoW runs absolutely perfectly. And there is a thread around here somewhere regarding BF and the X1400.

ive got the same gpu, and it runs BF2142 on 1024 x 768 with all settings at low at about 40-45 fps ( its really not bad to have everything at low you know :) )

use omega drives, they really help :)

Wow, I am very surprised that it would even be able to run Oblivion for $800. How about future games?
