Maybe 1366x768 everything off/ on low? Or is that pushing it? The processor is a 1.4 GHz overclocked 33%.

Probably pushing it a little bit.

Source engine from Valve is pathetic considering the current hardware available for PC. Make that pathetic and sad.

You should be ok. The source engine runs surprisingly well on old/weak hardware.

I assume it's a Asus ULx0VT with a SU4100/SU7300 and turbo33. Worth noting that if you do a 200->266Mhz BSEL PLL pinmod then it would run at 1.6Ghz stock and could be overclocked up to the point of instability. M11xR1 folks are getting 1.9-2.1Ghz. If the ULx0VT supports CAS=7 RAM, then you may be able to get further. They can only use CAS=6. See http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...ock-m11x-r1-slg-hardmod-only.html#post7049385 .

If you need more GPU performance then consider a ~$200 GTX460 DIY eGPU using the mPCIe slot. You'd get a x1.Opt link going since the Asus has a 4500MHD iGPU.

I hink its great. Up until a month ago, i had a mobility radeon x300. And it ran, and i was so happy. I dont need cutting edge graphics to feel engrossed. Its good enough.
