    How would this setup hold up?

    Can this setup run most games on max settings?


    • CPU: Intel PM CENTRINO 2GHz Processor w/ 2MB L2 Cache
    • Hard Drive: 60GB Hard Drive
    • Memory: 1GB DDR2 PC4200 RAM
    • Display: 17" Widescreen UXGA LCD
    • Video: 256MB NVIDIA GEFORCE GO 6800 ULTRA

    Well it is a great setup. You can run the most games of today at max, but a few years later it will be hard.

    Looks like an older system. It will still be great for games, but I wouldn't buy something unless it was dual-core these days.

    the 6800 ultra is slightly faster then a 7800, which i have. assuming your prossesor isn't too much slower then my 1.66 core duo, then i could probably give you a good idea of what you will get.
    My system will run all games exept FEAR and Oblivian on max resalution and settings, the lowest i have seen on any game besides the two i have mentioned is 40. With FEAR I run it at 1024X768 with everything on max but AA, becuase i dont care and becuase it gives me a better frame rate, although it is still very playable with it on. with that system you could probably play it maxed out, although you may want to turn down some of the physics or somthing cpu based. With Oblivian it recemended 'Ultra High' for me, so you would probably have the same recomendation, which looks amazing. yeah, that system is pretty good, whats the asking price?
