Follow this link, install the simple application which I made and reply with your graphics card and how many frames are displayed each second. This should be interesting!![]()
I'll start it off - NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX - 868.30fps
The program can be found at:- http://www.mattireland.org/template 240307/downloads/GCardTest/GCardTest.zip
The program is also attached to this post.
P.S. Please do not have any other applications running at the same time. Thanks! We'll see how this goes! (The application does take a bit of time to load - don't worry).

mattireland It used to be the iLand..

Tells me something about having to install Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D?
-
Cool. Sadly, it doesn't work with vista
-
Would you mind posting the source for this. I'd rather not run the program until I know whats going on under the hood.
-
Gave me a direct3d error too.

What does that mean to have FPS (frames per second) without any load? There isn't a point to getting a FPS value if the GPU is not under any load...that's the whole idea of game benchmarking - to test out various, usually graphically intensive games, and get back a FPS rating.
You're probably better off working with FRAPS on DOOM3 or Oblivion or whatever other game you want. -
Hi
It gives me this:
I doubt if i can download DX9 SDk for about 500 MB! -
Yep, it wants you guys to have the DX9 SDK in order to run this. Just forget it guys.
-
Won't even run for me, attempts to download the program and fails.
