second one although it would be better if you can get a better notebook than those 2 you have specified.

Out of the 2 specified, the 2nd is better, but as others have said, it's not great either.
What exact games are you planning to play?
Are you constricted by budget or something else(hence your pick of those 2)?

Perhaps there are other options, but if you have ot stick between those 2, the 2nd is overall better.

I game with my 1555 every day, although with a better processor (P8600 2.4GHz). That 1555 should suit you just fine with Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, CoD4, and even Crysis at low settings.

And no, "cool" and "quiet" are not words to describe AMD-based machines. :p

Neither are really "meant" for gaming as the others have said, but the second one should suffice for medium and low setting gaming.

then none of the 2 are great.. try to get a notebook with at least a NVDIA GT240M or ATI 4650 if you want to play these games with no issues for sure.

If you go with the Dell, spend some money on the 1600x900 or 1980x1080 screen. 1366x768 is a productivity killer.

That processor is just fine. Sean just likes to hear the sound of his own voice.
