    Hey poeple,

    How do you get away from those dam hunter choppers in HL2? I'm at a section where you come out of a tunnel and have a i huge long walk/run along an open muddy canal and there is a hunter chopper cutting me to bits,

    Any pointers???

    There are some sewer outlets to the right,but i carn't get up yo them,there is like i funny wooden railing in front of them.I can jump up on the railing but not quite up to the sewers.

    Sorry guy,i'm stuggling here.I'm in chapter 4 "Water hazard" have gone left and hit the big broken pipes,but they are full of radioactive water,how do you get through?

    Isn't this about the time you're supposed to get the airboat? Sounds like it to me, but can't remember exactly.

    Yea you're supposed to have the water boat. The water boat will last you all the way through that chapter, and you'll get a gun mounted on it later into the chapter to deal with the choppers.

    lol if you want instant airboat. Get the console open and type in the code for an airboat. A little cheating but it will save you all that backtracking.

    Don't know if that'll play well with the game though. Might mess up some triggers or scripts (because you haven't picked up the airboat where you're supposed to)

    An easier solution might be to just reload from the start of the chapter. Pretty sure you're supposed to get the airboat near there.

    its not even possible to get anywhere without the airboat is it? the radioactive water will kill him right away.

    anyway....this will help. i used it once or twice when i was stuck, but dont read too far unless you want to know whats going to happen.

    I left it back where the burning truck lies accross the canel,then walked the rest of the way :)Got to the broken pipes and was screwed,no wounder it was such a long walk.............and the choppers cut me to shreds..........
    Easyer with the boat.... DOH
