Steam let me test play Brink twice, and I gave it a go twice. But I didn't like the game simply because you can run out of ammo easily and you can be critically hit and lie down and then you have to wait for a medic needle or ammo resupply. So that's what killed the game for me. Didn't notice if there was a game map. I won't even buy it from Steam at 75% off for $6.74 for the Complete Pack.

How about you? Do you have the game / like or hate it / what is the common opinion of it?

I tried it too. Just couldn't get into it. I mean, you die, and you have to wait for some medic? That's just, a killer for me.

It's either wait for a medic or a respawn timer. Baka believes it's normal ._.

People are just spoiled with instant respawn from CoD and BF franchise ._.

yeah it is a fun game, as long as you're friends knows the how to do. and lying down waiting for medic is just ordinary. but imo im better off with the respawn thing, time is of the essence :)

I thought it was like Borderlands but with a grind so hard that you grow tired of trying to match your objectives on time. I mean, you can get stuck in a hallway fight for a full ten minutes and your objective timer is like 15 minutes most of the time. To be good at the game you need to have mapped out the objectives and patterns like a Navy Seal team. I didn't like it.

Go back to the counter strike times. You die, you wait for the round to end. No respawn, just spectate mode :p

I wanted to try it out, even though I had heard it was crap. Installed it during the free weekend, started it up, CTD twice. That was about as much as I cared to see.

Really bad game. Pointless parkour and hectic gunfights in capped fps. This is a typical example of how bad can be a console game on pc.

I thought this thread was about the home security company, Brink.

Joking aside, I didn't like the game either.

I got Brink when i bought the ID gamepack and it did not have any performance issues on my AMD card but for me that game was average.
